Now in its 21st year, the Ford Theatres Partnership Program nutures Los Angeles County-based artists, arts organizations and community, celebrating and reflecting on stage the diversity of the people of the region.
Former LA County Supervisor Ed Edelman supported the creation of the first summer season, named "Summer Nights at the Ford," in 1993. The program was designed to enable Los Angeles County-area music, dance and theatre groups to produce successfully in a major venue, providing production and marketing support and often facilitating their first important public appearances.

Launching in 2014, Find Your Space at the Ford is a new program that invites Los Angeles County-based handcraft, visual and performing artists and art groups to collectively practice on the Ford Theatres' main outdoor plaza. The Ford Theatre Foundation seeks to provide a free central location for artists and art groups to educate and interact with the public about their art form in a vibrant outdoor setting. The Ford Theatre Foundation will provide a stipend and promote participating artist and art group activities as part of the Ford Theatres season.
